**Please note I have relocated to the DC Metro Area & do not currently live w/ my dog-son Chalco. He is living w/ his grandmother until further notice.** Proud Doggy Dad to Chalco, I'm a long-distance runner who enjoys raising active dogs. My own dog trains with me for races & running in general so I think it's unfortunate that a lot of pups don't enjoy even basic exercise. I hope to change that through Rover, allowing other pups to tag along with me for exercise when their own parents can't take them out. I'm primarily available to take dogs out for walks (or running, I'm happy to oblige!) or house-sit overnight, but I can also keep dogs overnight or during the day. I have a large well-kept (fenced) yard for pups to frolic as well as a patio & screened porch for shelter or to keep dog crates. However, I live in a neat residential area allowing me to take dogs out for walks/runs of decent length. [We can talk in person whether other doggy errands like vet visits are also needed.] CAVEATS + Of course I'm glad to take care of any dogs as I would my own but I ask you bring your own food & toys when dog-sitting at my place (you know, liabilities). + I look forward to welcoming playmates for my Chalco, but I cannot accept females who are in heat. Also, I discourage male dogs who are overly aggressive or territorial towards other male dogs. + Not a requirement but dogs who are potty-trained are strongly preferred; otherwise, I have to keep them outside in my backyard when dog-sitting + PLEASE INDICATE ANY AGGRESSIVE OR NERVOUS TICS IN YOUR DOG IN ADVANCE so everyone in my household can be aware & feel safe
