We have no breed exclusions. We have an in-depth questionnaire that is utilized to gain an "acquaintance-ship" with the pet's personality, current health and other aspects of your pet or pet's that a "pet-care" person should be acquainted with. Our company is a two person enterprise; husband and wife. We have no employees and therefore are not bonded. Texas does not require a "license" to operate a purely "pet-sitting " business. The pets we care for never leave the owner's or our premises. Therefore we and you have no need, under the provisions of "Care, Custody or Control" for additional liability insurance.

We will attempt to engage your four-legged family member in "play-time." But from our experience, your pet may not always be in a playful frame of mind during your absence. However, playtime is an integral part of our "drop-in" program and our 24 hour or overnight "in your home" pet care plan. We do not take pets off the owner's premises except in emergency situations; aspect discussed in advance with you. There are far too many foreign elements that may lead to loss of or injury to your pet. A fenced backyard, although not required, offers an alternative way to play with and/or exercise your pet. In addition to dogs, we will care for cats, birds and fish; some reptiles, no snakes. Our "drop-in" pet care plan for dogs and cats include the following as required. 1. Washing, rinsing and drying food and water dishes prior to feeding following your instructions. 2.Clean cat's litter-box with your tools per your instructions. Dispose of waste material in your specified container. 3.Pick-up dog's waste from yard using your tools and disposing of waste in your container. 4. Birds; replenish seeds/food and offer fruit per your instructions. Engage bird with familiar words or music. 5.Fish; monitor fish, tank or tanks, and equipment. Feed fish and replace filters per your instructions. No equipment repairs will be attempted. The latter element will be discussed with you prior to your departure. 6.We will provide care for some reptiles. But no snakes 7. Pick up mail (no out of immediate area P.O. Boxes), remove newspapers or other materials from your driveway. Our 24 hour "in your home" pet care plan includes all of the above plus placing garbage and refuse cans at curbside on designated day. We also bring our own food (may need refrigerator space) and our own bedding. You tell us where to sleep at night. Please note that our fee of $10.00 for a drop-in at your home covers one pet. If you have more than one pets our basic charge may be negotiated to allow the extra time needed to provide additional care. Our overnight "in your home" fee covers one pets as well.
