Pet care experience
Firstly, I go by my middle name, which is Renee. I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I am a Phoenix native and I have worked with dogs and their humans for about 4 years professionally. I have owned dogs of my own but not for awhile due to my desire to be able to travel more freely. I get my dog fix from work and my awesome and adorable clients. Both in Arizona and Oregon I have years of professional experience as a dog walker, a pet and house sitter, as a volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society while I lived in Oregon, as a kennel worker and receptionist for a pet resort and as a groomer’s apprentice. I have dog sat for up to 4 dogs at a time, and 7 pets is the highest amount of pets I have cared for at once. My sister calls me the dog whisperer - I think dogs just sense how much I love them. I was even born in the Year of the Dog! I am that person at a party who will be hanging out with pets or kids before talking to my peers. And even if some routine for you may not make sense to me I will do whatever is asked to make you and your pet comfortable. I have cared for dogs that were ill, needed medication and had special diets and/or temperaments. I truly enjoy any time that I get to spend with canines and other animals also!

Renee is absolutely wonderful! She takes amazing care of our 3 dogs ranging from 1 to 13. She also sends THE best pics to us! She's very communicative and I am absolutely booking her again!!!
We just got home from our vacation and our dogs are so happy! Renee took such good care of them and kept in constant communication (like I asked her too) and sent photos of the animals everyday. She’s really laid back and easy to talk to. A great person. When I got home I was like where did she sleep?! Where did she shower?! Did she eat?! The house looked EXACTLY the same as I left it. Thank you so much Renee and I look forward to having you pet/house sit in the future!
Renee (Francine) was awesome! She watched our crew for 5 days. We have 2 senior dogs, a puppy, 2 cats, and a turtle. She was wonderful with all of them. She sent us daily pictures and updates. We were super nervous using someone outside our family, especially for our seniors, but she made us feel so much better. She also kept up on their medications and they all seemed very content hanging out on the couch with her when we got home. Will definitely be booking again for our next vacation. Thanks, Renee!
This was the first time we've left our newly recused dog with a sitter. We were hoping for a really good experience, but Francine (Renee) made it great. She was so caring and patient with our little girl. It was a great choice for a sitter companion and made it easier for us to be gone a few days. Thank you!!

My fee for house and pet sitting includes me driving to your home and providing care for your pet (feeding, potty breaks and cleaning up pet waste); walking your pet (if requested or part of their routine); daily photos and/or videos of your pet; administering medication (so long as it is not injectable); bringing in mail and packages; and watering plants (if requested). I request written or typed instructions on how to care for your animals, home, etc. I will strive to leave your home in the same condition than when I arrived, or better!

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I love all of their different personalities. Even when a dog is shy or stand-offish, those moments when they let you pet them or rest their head on your knee, or reach their paw up to you are some of the best feelings ever! It is always helpful to know ahead of time any behaviors that I should be aware of, such as extreme shyness, territorial behavior, leash aggressions, car or food aggression, picky eater...is your dog a door dasher, etc.? There are a ton of different behaviors dogs exhibit so it’s good to know which ones to be on alert for or of which to be aware. I’ve had an experience of having to break up a dog fight but luckily the owners warned me ahead of time that one of their multiple dogs was very lovable but sometimes became aggressive with members of her pack. If I had not had the heads up I might have panicked more when a dog fight occurred. My main concern is keeping the animals safe so the better equipped I am to do so is best for all.
A typical day
Firstly, I will adhere to your care instructions. I would love to take dogs on walks that I find enjoyable because I imagine they would too but without permission I will not. Some dogs do not enjoy walks so if yours does not then I will not walk them. If your dog likes fetch, snuggles, wrestling, then we will do those activities.
