Pet care experience
Nice to meet you! I'm Francesca, a local, non-smoker who grew up with cats, dogs and fish. I have over 10 years of paid pet sitting and house watching experience. I love my small group of regularly watched pets as my own. I refer to most of my cats & dogs as little boyfriends & girlfriends since we love our cuddles together. I always send owners photos, videos or little sound recordings of purring so they can share in their pet's day whenever they're away. I’ve also taken care of a tarantula, lizards, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, tropical frogs, salt water fish, and birds. I’m an avid gardener, so if I’m watching your house, you know your green, leafy pets will also be well cared for. Please reach out if you’d like to chat! I work for myself doing all sorts of domestic work, so my flexible and autonomous schedule allows me to be with your pet very consistently. Unfortunately, due to the small size of my apartment, I do not board any pets or animals in my own home - I come to you!

Francesca is a perfect pet sitter—very responsive, detail-oriented, and super sweet with my cat. She put me at ease with multiple daily updates + pictures, and took great care of my home + plants while I was away. She managed my older kitty’s health needs + medication (and my pet-owner anxiety) with ease + clearly he absolutely adored her. Francesca goes above + beyond, I highly recommend her and will be having her back anytime I travel!
Francesca stayed in our house to watch our dog Carmen for 10 days. Carmen is extremely shy and takes a while to warm up to new people. After a few shy days, she really came around to Francesca and wanted lots of love. Francesca was communicative, sending us photos and updates, which we really appreciated. She was extremely prepared when she came to meet Carmen, asking lots of questions about the best way to interact with her.
Francesca is a wonderful cat sitter! My little diva Zuzu can't stand anybody but she likes Francesca. She is super professional, reliable, and nice. Francesca makes the whole pet sitting process easy and smooth, and she always sends pics so I know how my tiny cat-queen is doing. I highly recommend her(Francesca, not my bratty tortoiseshell)!
Francesca is everything you would want in a pet sitter - incredibly trustworthy, great with animals and respectful of other peoples' time and unique needs. My dog Sadie is a rescue and can be a bit anxious and aggressive, but Francesca is somehow able to attend to her needs and keep her happy and calm. I whole-heartedly recommend Francesca as a dog sitter!!!

While I’m unable to board any dogs or cats in my own home, I take the safety and security of staying in clients homes very seriously. My goal when I leave is to make seem as though I was never there - I want to be a seamless addition to your travel plans. The only person that ever accompanies me in your home is my husband, who you would also meet. Trash and dishes done when I leave, bed stripped or washing started, plants water and mail in; but the most important thing is that your pet experiences as little stress as possible by getting the attention they need in their own home.

I love learning your dog’s personality! Whether they love attention and are always under foot, or are maybe getting up in years and want a low-key cuddle session, learning and responding to your pet as an individual is what keeps me interested in such rewarding work.
