I am a warm, personable dog sitter and a true dog-lover at heart. As a former dog owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to leave your precious pup in someone else’s care. I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy, and more importantly, I'm genuinely dedicated to doing whatever I can to put both my clients and their dogs’ mind(s) at ease. As a freelancer, my schedule allows me enough flexibility to be able to spend quality time with your pup — whether you hire me for dog-walking, a “drop-in visit” or even to look after your dog in the comfort of their (your!) own home. Dogs are like humans and, as such, they require the same amount of patience and understanding - as well as tender love and care - that we do to feel comfortable and safe around somone new. Having dealt with a variety of breeds from a wide range of background, I know how difficult it can be for any dog to be away from their owner(s). I promise to make your dog feel at ease right away by providing them with lots of tummy-rubs and cuddles to allow them to get to know me and lessen their anxiety about you being gone! As I mentioned before, I've been a huge dog lover for as long as I can remember. One of the first great losses I experienced was when my family’s golden retriever, Lindsey, passed away suddenly at age 16. At the time, I was in high school and we’d had Linnie for almost my entire life — and I can honestly say that I've never cried harder - and for longer - than I did after losing my childhood pet and my lifelong companion. Since Linnie’s passing, I’ve felt a constant need to have dogs in my life — whether I’m taking care of a friend’s pup for the day, or looking after a co-worker’s dog while house sitting for them, I absolutely love being around dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I’m looking forward to getting to know and spending time with your pup as well, and promise to care for them as if they were my own! I’m an outgoing, passionate, fun-loving individual who has always had a soft spot for canines. Additionally, I have a relentless work ethic, pride myself on being extremely trustworthy and reliable, and most importantly, have a true passion for caring for any dog, big or small! In my spare time, I enjoy doing yoga, running in Central Park and most of all, walking around and exploring my great city – NYC. What I love most about NYC is you can literally walk for miles and see/discover parts of the city you've never seen before - let alone even knew existed! I can't wait to go exploring with your four-legged-friend, and look forward to meeting both you and your pup soon!
