Francesca did a great job taking care of our Husky (Tennessee) and Mini Aussie (Koloa). She sent us photo/video updates every day. She was also very nice and accommodating.

Booked Francesca based upon her past reviews and she was on our way from San Jose to San Diego area. She was flexible with drop off and provided 1 update during the 8 days she watched my dog. I received a text a few days prior to pick up to confirm the time I would be picking up my dog because she had a wedding to attend at 4pm. I responded the same day saying we would not be able to pick up the dog prior but expected to be a few hours after the wedding and I received a response that was fine and I could pick the dog up anytime after she was finished. On the day we were to pick up our dog, I sent Francesca a message because we were running later than expected due to traffic. At this time I was notified she would not be available until 11pm or I could pick up my dog the following day. She did explain there was a miscommunication but she was not home and I could wait until 11pm if I wanted. Eventually after some back and forth, she offered to retrieve my dog and take her to the after wedding party where I could pick her up there. This added at least 40 additional minutes to our return drive. I agreed since it was better than the other options of waiting for 2 1/2 hours for her to return home or make the round trip (at least 2 hours) the following day. I feel that a responsible dog sitter would provide their availability on the day of drop off or pick up during the booking process or decline the stay. Given the large block of time that she was unavailable for pickup (7+ hours) it would have been more responsible to communicate this well in advance and raise when initially attempting to book. To me, this demonstrated a lack of responsibility and maturity that I would expect from someone who provides a service for watching and caring for people's pets.
