Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs; interacting and playing with them makes my life better and more fulfilled. I have care taking experience with dachshunds to huskies to boxers. I have pet sit for up to three rambunctious corgis across the age spectrum. Nervous dogs are my specialty because I am careful, patient and good at reading body language, but I get along with all kinds of dog personalities. I especially love going on walks in the woods and on urban trails and will be happy to take your pupper to a place that will excite their senses. Need a steady throw-buddy? That's me! I am also happy to introduce our dogs if your pup needs a play date during the day. The standard sized tuxedo rat terrier in the photos (with the crown) is my 2 1/2 year old baby, Bruiser. I am punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and most of all, love dogs. Pick me as your sitter!

Frances is an amazing house-sitter! We left for almost a week and they took impeccable care of our animals and the house. I got periodic updates and pictures of our cats and check-ins so that I knew everything was going really well! Highly recommend Frances to anyone who needs someone to watch their fur babies.
Frances is an attentive and caring person. I have been with them briefly while they watched a friend's dog on short notice, and Frances was over the moon about it. Frances is excited about every dog they see, but also is respectful enough to not launch themself at dogs indiscriminately. They are good at reading subtle cues from dogs and respecting dogs' and owners boundaries alike!
When my family came to Olympia for my graduation they brought my 15 year old Australian Shepard/Husky. We were worried about bringing him to the graduation event, so we decided we needed to hire a pet sitter. He gets seizures when he's nervous and had recently had cancer surgery, so we were anxious about leaving him with anyone new. Frances was the perfect choice to care for him. They patiently and attentively listened to our long list of emergency care instructions, and their calming personality instantly put both us and our pup at ease. If you're looking for someone compassionate, patient, and mindful to effectively care for your elderly or emotionally sensitive dog, Frances is the perfect choice.
Frances has provided great care for my 5 year old dachshund mix! He has separation anxiety and Frances was able to really connect with him right away with a calming and caring manner. He has also had some back issues in the past, and Frances was able to take care of his more specialized (crating and meds) needs while he was recuperating. I definitely recommend Frances for your pup(s)!
