Pet care experience
We've taken care of dogs our whole lives. We live with a 9 year old half golden/half black lab (Sampson) and whenever we drop him off for travel we hope he is getting some love and snuggles. Since we work from home, we figured we can make it easy for people to feel safe dropping there dog's off for a few days.

Forrest is a long term friend of mine. Extremely caring, smart, family oriented individual that has a huge loves for all animals. I’ve personally had him stay at my house multiple times to house sit and watch my dogs for weeks at a time while I go on vacation. I would highly recommend Forrest as a pet caregiver for anyone out there looking for someone to take care and show love to you cat and doggos. Even better is that Forrest can work remotely and do his job from anywhere that has WiFi so he never has to leave the house and was always taking my dogs out multiple times a day and cares for my own as if they were his. If I could rate him from 1-5 I would give him a 10. You’d be very lucky to have Forrest as a guest

Our apartment has a fenced in dog park. And we live very close to Lady bird lake, so we often take long walks on that trail. If your dog is comfortable, we love to take the dogs out on adventures to other parks or out to grab a bite. Our Dog Sampson is a very friendly 9 year old pup. Knowing how hard it can be to be away from your pup, we will send daily photo's and updates!

Please let us know as much as you can ahead of time. If there is anything specific we should know about your dog. Are they comfortable being in a crate or not (either is okay). We also love to know if your dog likes going out (sometimes we bring our dog to the local coffee shop or out for dinner). And for longer stays- please let us know if your dog is okay being left home alone at all. We don't ever do this for long periods of time but good to know if we have to run an errand!
A typical day
We always think a tired dog is a well behaved dog. So we get out on plenty of walks. Typically we take a nice long morning stroll down by lady bird lake. At home we take work breaks to play with the pups and do light training and mental exercise's, and we every couple of hours we will go outside to pee or hang in a fenced in dog park.

Availability
We work from home, and take frequent walks outside to the trail near-by or take the dogs to our apartment's fenced in dog park! We often play training games with Sampson and visiting dogs during the day! We are a 1 pet/household at a time so your pup will get a lot of love and attention! Dogs staying with us are welcome to lounge with Sampson on the couch and will get plenty of pets and treats if they are allowed.
