Pet care experience
My name is Flora and I love dogs. I really could not live without them and taking care of them is what I do best. Working in doggy day cares and being a pet-sitter is what I love, it is my passion. Dogs are my life. I am a veterinarian technician with a hospital in Woodstock and have been a vet tech for 6 years. I am able to give medication and/or injections. Animals to me are so therapeutic and I love being able to spend time with them rubbing their stomachs! Fun fact : I am originally from France and graduated with a neuroscience degree. We had Flora watch our house and two labs over Thanksgiving. It was our first experience with Rover and we could not be happier. Flora was very responsible and took good care of our dogs. We received daily pictures of the dogs playing. The house was just as we left it, you could not tell that anyone had stayed there. Highly recommend Flora and we hope she will be available when we need a sitter in the future.
Flora, is very pleasant and seems to like dogs very much. We were a little disappointed in her follow up and her lack of interaction with us during her stay with our pets
My dogs were tired, worn out, and extremely relaxed during their stay with Flora. She is awesome!

I am not currently accepting boarding or dogs coming over in my home due to living in an apartment and not having enough room. However, I do dog and house sit. I follow all the rules and protocols from the owner and Rover's policies. I make sure the pup gets plenty of love while the parents are away. I treat them like I would want my dogs to be treated when I go away on vacation. They are our babies.

Let me know if your dog has any kind of special needs or medications. I am fully trained to administer oral medication or injections. And also if he has any favorite toy or treat haha.
A typical day
Playing and interacting with dogs and puppies is my number one priority. Dogs need to be able to run around and play with toys and their friends. It helps them be social and friendly. Dog walking is also part of my dog-sitting style. Kennesaw Mountain Park is two seconds away from my house, so with the client's permission, walking the dog at the park would also be possible.

I am currently working part-time as a vet tech and most of my days are spent studying, so I have plenty of time to take care and play with the puppers :) I also have 2 dogs.
