We have had dogs for most of our lives, but now we don't have one of our own. We thought this would be a great way to fill that void. We have enjoyed caring for our friends and family's dogs and would like to have one with us more often. We are experienced with most breeds and all ages. We both work from 8-4, but once we are home, the dog will be be given lots of attention and exercise. One of us also works close to home in case of an emergency. We are both active and are looking forward to having a dog join us for hikes or walks on the beach. We have a large unfenced yard surrounded by bushes so dogs naturally stay near us when outside. While in the yard, your pet will be looked after at all times. If your dog is prone to run away, we will put on a leash on the dog whenever outside. The first few times with any new dog we will use a leash. Our secluded home is on top of a steep driveway so there is minimal traffic in our immediate surroundings. Our tall bedframe provides lots of space underneath, and we have found most dogs enjoy sleeping there.
