I have taken care of animals (cats, dogs, horses) for about 8 years now. I took care of a Thoroughbred horse for 4 years since his owner had hip replacement surgery and struggled to adequately exercise him; I did it for service hours because he really needed the help! I have also done hippotherapy (therapy with horses) for children with special needs and veterans for around 3 years. I have an off the track Thoroughbred horse that I have trained and cared for around 6 years as well. A lot of my experience is house-animal sitting, but I am also an avid runner and would be happy to walk/run your dog. I have a protection trained German Shepherd that I run 3-5 miles a couple times a week with. That being said, I’ve grown up with all different sizes of dogs and know how to properly care for them! I also have been riding horses since I was three years old and have a horse that I care for and ride 3x a week. I have grown up with many animals in my lifetime (exotics included-Emus, Sugar Gliders, etc) that has made me quite accostumed and skilled with animals. I finished my degree at Kennesaw State University in Biology which has helped me attain veterinary positions that require lab work. Dogs and cats especially are my absolute passion and I will make sure to give them the most love and care they can receive! I usually do overnight care for pet owners in their own home- it makes the dogs feel most comfortable. However, I can bring them to my home if needed too. I have experience working in a vet so I can do nail trims, anal glands, baths, general check ups, oral medication, and basic wellness checks.
