Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Fiona! I have four years of professional animal care experience. From 2018 to 2019, I walked dogs as a volunteer with Tufts University’s Animal Aid program, and I have been dog and cat sitting in homes across Brooklyn for over three years with Rover. I have had cats my whole life and have dogsat dozens of pups through River! I also have experience working with dogs and cats who are elderly or have special needs or illnesses. Fiona was great! This was my first time using a non-family or friend petsitter so I was pretty nervous, but the multiple daily updates and photos day kept my anxiety at bay. What impressed me most is that when my dog got into some garbage and ate something potentially dangerous, Fiona was up front about it and didn't just wait to see if anything happened (thankfully, nothing did). I of course wish the incident hadn't occurred, but dogs will be dogs. This won't prevent me from booking with Fiona in the future.
Fiona was very patient and understanding with my nervous dog!
Fiona was an excellent caretaker for my cat while I was away visiting family. She sent updates regularly and had great intuition as to what my guy needed. I think I found my favorite rover! A++

I do not bring clients’ pets to my home. I am aware of all foods and plants dogs/cats need to avoid. I do not let dogs off leash unless asked to do so and always like to leave my clients’ homes cleaner than when I arrived!

A typical day

I currently working a remote 9-5 job, so I can be with your dog all day! Because of this, I only do walks and drop-ins within one mile of my home.
