Hi! My name is Fiona, and I'm a work-from-home dog product designer, and an event planner in Austin TX. I have had dogs most of my life. I currently have a 11 years old shih tzu/Japanese chin mix named Teddy Bear, and a 1-year-old toy Aussiedoodle named Tatet Tot. We moved back to NY from Savannah, GA. So the dogs have adjusted from living with a big backyard to apartment lifestyles in NYC. And we now live in Austin, TX! My home has a fenced-in yard where your pups can run around and play all day. I have two sweet small pups that are well socialized with dogs of all sizes. If you have your own crate, I’m happy to follow any daily routine/rules you have for your pup at home! Inside the house, pups roam free and mainly enjoy lounging on the couch with some squirrel videos in the background. 🐿 Our home is small but cozy! I have a soft stepper stair for the pups to get on the couch, a cozy dog bed and a basket full of toys, very soft blankets, tons of healthy treats (no bones or rawhides, only digestible snacks!), and removable gate. When I’m not working, the pups and I love going on adventures in our Jeep! I'd love to make more furry friends on Rover while maintaining my eCommerce business. I make bandanas for dogs and matching human apparel so my hours are more flexible, and I can travel! Hope to meet you soon :) I work from home most days with the occasional meetings on-site which is 3-4 hours away from home, and can care for your pups and let them out in the grass and park to play, and provide lots of belly rubs and petting in between tasks :) I understand leaving your dog with a new person can be worrisome at times. I send frequent pictures and videos of your fur baby doing anything from naps, walks, meals, and playtime! It'd be like you are with them at all times! The dogs are welcome to hang out in the living room and dining room and the big fenced yard! Plenty of space to roam around.

Fiona took such good care of our pup. She was very responsive and sent multiple pics and videos everyday, including updates on his eating habits. We appreciate her attentiveness and would definitely recommend her!
This is our second stay with Fiona. She takes such great care of our girl and we are very grateful 😆

I take the dogs out to fenced area only and leashed walk. I’d like to know if your dog is an escape artist, if they get along with other dogs at the park or on walks. Are they scared of strangers or mailmen. Unfortunately, I cannot take pit bulls, bull dogs, boxers, Rottweiler, bullmastiff, dogs with anxiety issues and/or barking issues. They are not a good fit for my home environment.

I’d like to know if your dog is potty trained and good on leash, any food allergies, and if they are a barker. Would also like to know the commands they understand. If they have a strict bathroom/eating schedule. Have your dog been boarded before? How was his/her experience? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does he/she pull on leash on walks? Do they whine, bark at door/noises/strangers? Are they house trained? How long can they be left alone for? Are they picky eaters? Are there treats/foods they cannot have or have to avoid? Any allergies? Do they sleep in their own bed, or furniture? Does your puppy have a crate? If the pet has multiple accidents in my home during their stay, a cleaning fee of a minimum of $100 will be applied to the stay. Due to the nature of my neighborhood, I cannot accept any dog that barks.
A typical day
We can play fetch or tug-o-war. We have lots of toys to share. We also go on short walks around the neighborhood if it’s nice out. The backyard is perfect spot for bathroom breaks or sunbathing!

Availability
I work from home most days throughout the day with occasional on-site meetings or hosting events. My schedule is pretty flexible overall. I try to only take the dogs out when the pavement is not screaming hot.
