I have owned animals my whole life. I have cared for all different types of animals. I currently have two dogs that live in my house. I am a Police Officer and do work night shift, so I will only take on so many daytime walking and drop in visits per week. Working overnight allows me to be at the house with your dogs all day, and I am off quite a few days during the week, so I would be able to be with the 24 hours on certain days. I don't board at my home, because one of my dogs is rude.
