Pet care experience
Welcome to our dog boarding and doggy daycare at home! We are Fernando and Drake, and we are excited to offer a comfortable and safe place for your furry best friend to stay while you are away. We understand that leaving your dog in someone else's care can be stressful, which is why we treat every dog like our own. We have many years of experience caring for dogs, and we are committed to making sure they have a fun and relaxing stay with us. At our at-home dog boarding and doggy daycare, your dog will stay in our cute little camper nestled in our big backyard. They will have plenty of space to run and play, and they will be able to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. We will walk your dog twice a day unless you want us to do otherwise. If your dog needs more frequent potty breaks, we are available to help. We want your dog to be comfortable and happy while they are with us, and we will do everything we can to make that happen. A little about us: Fernando is a pediatric nurse and works part-time at a local hospital from 7am to 330pm. He has experience with dog walking and sitting and did so at an independent living facility through nursing school . Drake is a therapist and provides hybrid sessions to clients. He is home most days and is available to help let pups out most days if they need more frequent potty breaks. We both love dogs and are passionate about providing the best care possible. We offer a meet-and-greet before your dog's stay to ensure that they are comfortable with us and our home. If we are introducing our dogs we may ask to meet at the park near our house due to our August resource guarding at times. He does best when he meets another dog in a neutral space and then walk home together. Thank you for considering our at-home dog boarding and doggy daycare. We look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend!
Reviews
Fernando was AMAZING! He was communicative and sent a bunch of photos which put my mind at ease. Our dogs were a little challenging after not having been boarded for quite some time, and Fernando was extremely patient. They have an excellent setup for dogs and work with their needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Fernando in the future!
Fer and Drake went over the top to look after Georgie! Fer kept me constantly updated on how Georgie was doing during the stay and she always looked like she was having a lot of fun or super comfy. Georgie went for lots of walks, played with the host doggos, and even received a toy present and tons of cuddles during her stay. We’re definitely coming back to them next time Georgie needs sitting :)
Fernando and Drake are amazing! Consistent and clear communication, lovely photos and updates throughout the stay, so patient and kind with my anxious pup, and worked to be flexible to make things work for everyone. I also love that they have a big fenced yard for many good smells and adventuring in, but also took him on long walks. They also have a super comfy, separate space which is nice if your pup isn’t crate trained, and perfect for snuggle time. You can tell that they really love dogs and we feel really safe and confident leaving our pup with them. We’ve worked with them twice now and definitely will be working with them again in the future! :)
Fernando went above and beyond! Great communication, and it was like the dogs had their own mini vacation while we were away.

In addition to this we give your dogs all the love and cuddles we can just like with our dogs. We know it’s hard when you are away and we want to make your time apart as easy and comfortable for everyone. We will also send lots of pictures and updates during their stay. At times we may have a hike or beach day planned and will let you know about this and make sure you are comfortable with it before we book. We also keep a doggy cam in the camper and will also use this to keep an eye on them when they are alone in there and to send you pics from it so you can see how they are doing.

Information Fernando S. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know what conditions or behaviors your dog may have so that I am aware and can provide the best care for them. A few other questions for you as their dog parent. 1) are they bully vaccinated? (We have a puppy that is not yet fully vaccinated and need to only host fully vaccinated dogs at this time) 2) Does your dog have a kennel/crate, and do they usually sleep in it? (if so please bring it along) 3) how does your dog normally do in new spaces? 4) Any concerns for them jumping the fence (4ft fence) 5) any history of aggression, leash reactivity, biting? 6) do they need any supplements or medications given? 7) if not listed how much and how often do you feed them? 8) are they allergic to anything or are their certain types of treats you don’t want them to have? Do you prefer no treat? Can you provide their favorite treats? (This helps us bond with them and get them to trust us when you are away) 9) in case of emergency is it okay to take them to the Vet ER before contacting you? What is your preferred Vet or Vet ER? 10) what names do they respond to? Any good scratching spots or funny tidbits about their personalities/likes/dislikes?
A typical day
I like to go on hikes in forest park, tabor, or just around the neighborhood. I also live close to two parks that I take my own pups too.

Availability
here is what a typical day looks like at our home, so you know what to expect: 6am-8am: wake up, go outside to potty in the yard, get breakfast, spend time sniffing around while the humans drink coffee and wake up. Then go on a short walk (0.65miles) 8am-4pm: (If we don’t introduce your dogs to ours) We split our time between your dogs and ours, taking turns playing with them and letting them in the yard, and also providing down time with them in the camper. So that they can rest but still have company. We do leave doggos alone in the camper so it’s important to know if your dog has separation anxiety, and what that looks like. If we do introduce our dogs we give them free range and they can play and run around the house and yard while being supervised, to their hearts content. 4pm-8pm: If I (Fernando) am working that day I get home around 4pm and let all the dogs out, go on another short walk, or run around the yard. 7pm is usually dinner time for our doggos but that can be adjusted to meet your dogs needs. 8pm-10pm Go on a walk (usually 0.65-1.5mile) start winding down and getting ready for bed. If our dogs are not introduced one of us will sleep in the camper with your doggos so they are not alone.
