Something about me is that I see animals as just another species like humans that need to be respected, taken care of, sheltered, understood, listened to, taken out on trip, etc. I'm a humanitarian as well. I believe that the way we treat animals is a reflection of ourselves. This is why I treat them with love. I have always gotten along with animals in general because of the way I approach them. Getting to know an animal immediately is very important. I can't just see them as a non-exisitent being or just a "pet." I treat them like family, always. I think that has a lot to do with growing up around animals my whole life and feeling for them. They are great indeed.
