Pet care experience
Boarding/daycare dogs and pups with Dogvacay/Rover since 2016. We recently had our 1,000th (one thousandth) stay over the 2023 July 4th holiday. We are Felice (Think CEO) and Ken (Think COO). We--Ken, especially--have owned a variety of dogs since forever and we've basically never met a dog we didn't like.
Reviews
Ken was fantastic from beginning to end! He was extremely reassuring that my dog would be ok with him for the long trip (10 days) and really calmed my nerves! Ken clearly has a great love for dogs and the ability to connect with then and make them feel comfortable. In addition to his excellent care, Ken also provided me with helpful suggestions regarding training my dog. I highly recommend using Ken’s services for boarding. Thank you so much Ken!
Sparkle has so much fun with Felice and her pups! Truly puts my heart at ease and full of comfort knowing that she is in such great hands. Sparkle has stayed with them two times now (both times over 8 days) and I will continue to book with them because it is very obvious they love my little girl. Thank you so much for taking care of sparkle for the holidays with very little notice!
Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! We knew he was in good hands.
Fabulous! From our first meeting to my pickup, everything was done for my convenience which hasn’t been my experience with other boarding experiences. My dog Sandy felt at home from our first visit. There is a huge fenced yard that Sandy loved - there must have been cool scents for her to explore but invisible to me. Felice met me outside and took great care introducing Sandy to her own dog and one other boarder. Same thing on pickup. , bringing her out to me to protect the other dogs still there. And the PICTURES! I got multiple pictures every day, showing Sandy happy and hanging out with new friends. What a difference! No stressed out dog, no loud noisy kennel. It’s a very dog-centric place, where Sandy could pick where she wanted to sleep. Sandy has a diet which included refrigerated food - no problem. Please give Felice and Ken a chance - you will never go back to boarding kennels again.

Safety, trust & environment
Our normal environment is a rotating small (2-3, on average) group of dogs on a routine schedule and with a fairly good sized fully-fenced-in back yard. This has shown itself to be the most rewarding and satisfying for them and the most stable and manageable for us. We monitor very closely who will be here with whom in order to best manage all the personalities and we book only one first time guest to start on any given day. We freshen the water at least twice a day if not more. We send numerous photos at no particular time and with no particular guidelines or guarantees of quality and will err waaaaay on the side of caution in contacting you if we notice anything that does not seem right with your baby. Simply put, we aim for a pleasant stay and pleasant memories for all concerned. After over a thousand stays, we feel at least a little like our aim is good. :-) For more complete information on our general operations send an email to: furbabiesunlimitedinfo at gmail dot com with 'Rover Info' in the subject and body. For complete information on Meet 'n' Greets send an email to: furbabiesunlimitedmeetandgreet at gmail dot com with 'Meet and Greet' in the subject and body. An auto-response email should arrive shortly. We do not check these accounts and this function is their sole purpose. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept dogs that have not been spayed or neutered or who are pee/poop-pad trained or who have otherwise shown themselves to be not be really fully house-trained. Most males mark (as do a few females) and accidents happen. This is NOT about isolated or obviously unusual or very rare occurrences. Please see the email info docs above for full details. They both contain the same text regarding this issue.

Information Felice T. would like to know about your pet
There is no unimportant information about your baby. At a minimum we need all veterinarian/vaccination/special diet info and any and all ways we can communicate with you if it becomes necessary. Also clear feeding instructions. Beyond that, anything you care to share. Is s/he a rescue? What, if any, activities should be encouraged or discouraged? Does s/he sleep reliably through the night or is a nighttime outdoor potty stop occasionally needed? Is s/he obsessed with getting out of the yard or through a door? All those perhaps seemingly little things that are just good to know.
A typical day
Everyone is usually up by 6-7am. Everyone goes out for pre-breakfast business and fun, comes in, eats breakfast, and goes back out for after-breakfast business and fun. Usually everyone gets a treat during the morning. Siesta is usually early to late afternoon when everyone will go out before dinner for business and fun. Then there's dinnertime, after-dinner business and fun. Bedtime starts around 9pm and everyone's usually settled in by 10.

Availability
Ken is a technically retired, confirmed homebody so he's always with the dogs. Dogs run freely in the fenced-in yard and are in and out of the house all the time. Everybody will go out every 2 hours, more or less, rain or shine, during the day. On the extremely rare occasion Ken must leave the house, it will usually be for no more than an hour, two at the most. Once or twice a year we block off time for ourselves and will not be available for boarding or daycare. Please check our calendar.
