Pet care experience
I’m Farrel, and my husband, Zack, and I lovingly call this little Rover gig of ours Bear Brothers Boarding, in memory of Yogi Bear (2009 - 2015) and Biscuit Bear (2004 - 2019) DeBaltzo. It was difficult toward the end of Biscuit’s life to find places to watch him who would love him and care for him as if he were home, and that has become our greatest aim now when we host our furfriends. Zack and I both work from home, so we‘re flexible as to our availability, as well as able to give furfriends we host in our home plenty of attention. We tend to prefer to only watch one pup at a time so their care is as personal and individualized as with you! In special cases, we may book a 24-hour overlap of hosting two, provided both owners approve. We are also a no-kids, no-smoking household, so should you choose to board with us, your pup will be in a guaranteed safe, healthy environment. Last, but certainly not least, we choose to honor the Biblical Sabbath each week, so should your pup’s stay require a Friday evening, it will be at no charge to you.

Farrel and Zach are incredible! They are true dog lovers. My German/Aussie mix can be a little rambunctious at times, but he had such a great time with these two and I know he was perfectly cared for. I really appreciate the fact that Farrel and Zach checked in with me and sent daily photo updates. I will definitely be booking again with these guys.
Farrel and Zach are great! My dog got sooo much attention and exercise with them! Playing ball and going on jogs. They love your dog like it's their own. Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, safe sitter.
Farrel & Zack were absolutely wonderful for my pup! He loved playing in their backyard & he was taken great care of! I would 100% recommend them for anyone!

Honesty is the best policy and we appreciate knowing ahead of time what we’re getting ourselves into when we agree to watch your pup. We have a lot of personal experience with high energy dogs and we love playfulness; but if your pup tends to be downright disobedient, defiant, and destructive, we reserve the right to request you find a more formal trainer for them to stay with.
A typical day
Our house is “your” house! Our furfriends are welcome to roam free in our common areas and snuggle up with us on our couches. We love cuddles after a long, busy day! We have a fairly large back yard with a privacy fence, so there will be plenty of opportunity for your pup to wander without being cooped up inside all day. Zack enjoys daily jogs around our neighborhood, so if your pup is healthy and agile enough, they’re welcome to tag along! Specific things your pup enjoys, like fetch and trips to the dog park, are always available upon request! We know you have a lot of options and we appreciate you taking the time to check us out.
