Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets since 2000 across 3 continents, and it has been one of the great joys of my life. Friends have trusted me to feed, bathe and most importantly, play with their beloved pets. I don’t discriminate against breeds, especially as the proud dog-mommy to our pitty Argus, who recently passed away.

Fareeda treated our dog great! She was very quick to respond on the messages and sent us several videos of our dog relaxing and enjoying walks. I felt very confident that Fareeda was caring for our dog as best as possible.
Fareeda was great with my dog, Sonny. She sent photos and videos every day, and got him to do his tricks on his very first day with her. She gave him medicine daily, and lots of snuggles. Sonny gets nervous around other dogs, but Fareeda only takes one dog at a time, so he got the personal attention he really needs.
Fareeda took great care of my dog while I was away. She sent videos and pictures, and he seemed very happy when I returned. I will definitely use her again.

I am generous with cuddles, ear scratches, and belly rubs. I like to keep the pet active for a while by playing with toys, going for walks, or simply lightly jogging around the space before letting them rest. If the pet enjoys a more relaxed vibe, I’m more than happy to pick their favorite show and lay on the cuddles. Ultimately, you tell me your/their preferences and I will easily adapt.

Their personality! I know that not every dog is the same—they are as unique and different as you and I. For example, our late dog Argus loved to just lie around and cuddle, and was not a fan of long walks—often protesting by sitting right on the sidewalk if he felt we had go on too long. Whereas other dogs I have cared for preferred more active routines and enjoyed 30 minute+ walks. Also it’s very important to know how your dog is with other people and dogs, so I can plan our walks and activities accordingly.
A typical day
Long walks, fetch/catch, tug-of-war, and letting them explore rock creek park together. I also know that some dogs prefer attention to activity, so based on your/their preferences, I am happy to get the necessary mileage in, then focus on snuggles, pats, and belly rubs.

Availability
Because I work full time, I am more available on weekends, but can occasionally cover weekdays, thanks to flexible work schedule, in order to care for your angel(s). I am an early riser and I enjoy morning and evening walks. Should I be fortunate enough to babysit your pup, I am a short walk to the beautiful rock creek park, where we would often take Argus for nice long walks.
