Pet care experience
Since I was a kid, I practically grew up surrounded by cats and kittens. I love being around cats, one of my cousins named me the cat whisperer because all of their kittens ended up sleeping in my lap. I have taken care of my sister's two adorable and lovely cats Sidney and Namira, and recently a friend's snuggly and ever-so-loving cat Neville who was with me for about a month.

Farah has sat my cats twice now - once for a period of 12 days and another time, for a fortnight. On both occasions, she did an excellent job. From being on time, to providing food to my cats on time (my older cat needs medication and she was very thorough about administering it to him on time) to cleaning their litter, I could not have asked for more. The only downside with Farah is the jealousy that comes with having her as your pet sitter... Once you return from your trip, your cat is quite likely to like her more than to you. 10/10 would recommend Farah as a cat sitter again.

I have plenty of open space in my living room for the pet's litter box, bed and toys to be there. I also have a sealed balcony with screens. There's minimum noise at my place. But as of now, I am only open to drop-in services. Hence, I have experience with changing litter, setting up feeding schedules, playing with cats, walking them on leashes, and taking care of them as well including bathing them.

A typical day
I love snuggling with the kittens and cats, and play with them to keep them entertained and making sure they do not get bored. I love giving them treats, and I know some great streets around NYC where I can walk your cat.

Availability
As of now, my schedule is pretty flexible. I am open to working any where between 9am - 5pm. I might have flexibility over weekends but that depends on my husband's schedule since he's a hospital resident intern and I would prefer spending time with him.
