When I was younger, I spent summers on my grandparents farm in Oregon. My favorite part about these summers was being around all the ‘working’ dogs. I was particularly fond of a Great Pyrenees named ‘Beethoven’. Because he was a guard dog, Beethoven slept out in the fields. But I just wanted to be with him all the time, so one night when my grandparents went to bed, I decided to sneak out and bring him back so he could sleep with me. Then I woke up at 6am, and walked him back to the field. I started to do this every night! Thus began me love affair with dogs! I now have one dog of my own -- ‘Kiki’, my 10-year-old Border Collie. I am also pre-veterinary study in school and planning on spending a life around dogs, which is why I’d love to care for yours!
