I absolutely love animals! I have considerable skill and experience in animal training and handling, as well as house sitting. I work part-time as a veterinary technician during the summer and I am a college undergraduate commuting from home. I am studying Biological Sciences with the goal of getting into medical school. At home, I have a 9-year-old cat, who is rather shy to strangers and often keeps to herself. I have worked with a variety of animals including cats, dogs, opossums, goats, alpacas, chickens, and more! I have also worked with most types of dogs, from hyperactive puppies, to previously abused dogs, and even brittler, blind/deaf seniors. Your fur-babies and home are in very safe, respectful, and capable hands with me! I am happy to provide you with frequent updates and photos regarding your pet, if you so choose. I have a rather flexible schedule and I am certainly willing to go the extra mile to make you and your furry friend happy! I would love to be your pet sitter and I look forward to potentially working with you!

Faith was the best! Faith watched our dogs for two days while we were away for our wedding and she made us feel so comfortable leaving them with her. She sent updates as we asked her to and she took such good care of them. It was such a relief knowing our babies were safe with her! We highly recommend using Faith as your pet sitter!

Faith was fantastic with our dog, Cooper. I was able to go on vacation worry-free knowing that Cooper was in great hands. I was dreading having to board Cooper for the week in a shelter and I'm so glad we had Faith instead. Cooper was able to stay at home and received lots of love and attention while we were gone. I truly can't recommend Faith enough. She had access to our house while we were gone and was careful and thoughtful throughout the process. She is an extremely mature and responsible young woman and I think Cooper made a new friend for life. :) Do not hesitate to hire Faith, she definitely has a "way" with dogs and Cooper just automatically trusted and gravitated to her. So pleased!
Faith recently watched my 2 dogs in my home for a weekend and it went great. They are small, but mischievous and she handled them well, with plenty of snuggle time too. Shared updates, and pics, and the house was spotless when I came home. It was a stormy snowy weekend, and no complaints. She even gave them baths at my request at the last minute. Very happy client and my dogs give her and Sean a "paws up!"

Before sitting any animals, I like to ask about any particular anxieties that your pet might have. If your animal requires any medication to be administered, I will of course need to know that. Some dogs that I watch require to be carried up and down stairs, or cannot be allowed to jump off of furniture. It would also help to know any commands that your pet knows or any routines that need to be followed in the morning, going outside, and at bedtime. Of course, I would love to know what makes your furry friend happy and what they like to play with. Anything helps when it comes to keeping your animal comfortable in your absence!
A typical day
When I watch animals, I love to indulge them with their favorite activities and toys to distract them from the common separation anxiey they can experience! Some dogs I take care of thrive when they are engaged in training games, while others love to go on long walks to sniff everything in sight. We can also enjoy down-time together as well, cuddling on the couch while we watch TV. I like to view dog sitting as an extended play date!
