Pet care experience
I love all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. Their resilience, adaptability, and companionship is beyond compare. My favorite thing about dogs is their innate ability to bring out the best in everyone. I am becoming a pet sitter because I'm a pet lover and because I want to put a smile on the face of every dog in the world! Dog sitting is also a great way for me to give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. All in all, I just love taking care of dogs more than anything! I have owned many large dogs and have cared for many of my friends and family members animals and homes over the years, and my passion for caring for them has only grown with time. I volunteered with the Pasadena ASPCA for all four years of high school and loved every minute of it! I worked with mostly wild animals there and helped clean up their living quarters. It was just a great feeling doing whatever I could to help. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, in addition to cats, gerbils, farm animals, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. When taking on a new client, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way for us to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, plus we get to chat face-to-face about your care expectations. I have a lot of questions too! I just like to get a full picture of what makes your dog tick, so that I can provide the absolute best care to them possible. Plus, I just love meeting new dogs! When I come across a new friend, I always get down on their level and let them approach me first. It’s good to be in a neutral territory with the owner around so that they know that I’m a welcome presence in a place they don’t have to defend. I’m sure we’ll make friends in no time! When your pup is under my care, the happiness and comfort of you and your pup is my number one concern. In addition to providing all the happiness I can, I always come prepared with the necessities. My work bag is equipped with a 1st aid kit in case of emergencies, doggie bags for any messes, clean, filtered water for both the dog and I, a dog brush, and a collapsible dog water bowl to ensure hydration during our adventures. I am always vigilant and attentive when caring for animals. I take pride in making sure every dog I walk has had thorough exercise, hydration, and a great time. I am also willing to provide minor house cleaning from $5 to $20 extra depending on the task(s). I am always happy to clean any and all indoor and outdoor messes your pooch may make for no additional charge. Lastly, I’m happy to provide regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together.
Reviews
I have a very large German shepherd named Rocky and Rocky loves Exxavior. Whenever they are together I have every confidence that Rocky is getting the best of care and is happy. My dog being happy is very important to me and Exxavior exceeds all my expectations I highly recommend him.
Exxavior is one of the few people Trixi, my 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier, and I trust. She tends to be territorial and doesn't often take kindly to new people, so I get a bit leery when having people over especially when it comes to potential pet care takers. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Trixi warmed up to Exxavior. He is reliable, caring, patient, and a great help in a pinch.
Exxavior is my favorite dog walker & house sitter. Jax, my Alaskan Malamute, and Taz, my husky, love to be watched by him. They even let him brush them, which is uncommon. He is punctual, professional, and a great help in a pinch.

Information Exxavior Y. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
As a day playing actor with an unset schedule, I have an abundance of free time and relatively open availability. When caring for pups over the course of a few days, I like to have a routine—although one that doesn’t replace the schedule you’ve set for your pup. The day would start with a short walk around the block for business, followed by a hearty breakfast and play time. Relaxation before lunch followed by another walk and some light play for the afternoon. The day would be wrapped up with dinner and a before bed business walk. Upon returning home, I like to send owners a report card for the day. I have a very active lifestyle of hiking, rollerblading, and exploration of the concrete jungle! I love to get out and explore, and am always happy to bring pups out with me. I would love to take a k-9 companion rollerblading to and around local parks. I'm sure most any active pup would be just as thrilled as I to explore the hidden hiking trails Torrance and Redondo have tucked away. I have yet to meet a dog that doesn't love a trip to the Redondo Beach boardwalk! I am also happy to walk dogs in and around their own neighborhood on a set route when possible. I find that dogs incur far less separation anxiety when walking around familiar territory. My favorite local spots are Entradero Park, Victor Park, and La Romeria Park. Entradero park even has a gated green to play with dogs safely off leash!
