I had 2 wonderful dogs for a total of 6 years, and I have never known such love from any living being. Now that they are no longer with me, I miss the company of a four legged friend. I’d love to be able to supplement the love, attention and care of your fur baby! As I only take in 1 client at a time, I can guarantee that your pet will be the main focus of my attention when I am not at work. The health and happiness of your pet is my main priority. I custom tailor the care for each individual guest so that your pet can be the least stressed in a newer environment.

Ewa is an amazing dog sitter and caretaker! We dropped off Chloe (4 year old Golden Retriever/Alaskan Malamute cross) and knew that she was in great hands with Ewa. We were so impressed with how calm and happy Chloe was both when we dropped her off and when we went to pick her up. Sometimes Chloe doesn't eat when she's nervous and in an new location however she was so comfortable with Ewa that she had no problems with that, which is amazing! Ewa was also kind enough to send us a little photo and update of our goofy Chloe lying with her belly up on the couch, which in the dog body language world means that she was so relaxed and at ease. I would absolutely recommend Ewa to anyone and we'll be sure to use her services again if we need to go out of town and can't bring our sweet doggo. Thanks so much, Ewa!!

Although I live in a townhouse complex, I have a fair sized fully fenced back yard. I am always outside with a pet and always have my eye on them. Play is encouraged in my backyard! I live in a very developed older neighbourhood with many green spaces and always leave time for lots of sniffing! Dogs will always be on leash on walks, and a fully fenced dog park is utilized for a safe off leash experience! Lots of doggy interactions will leave your pet happy and tired! While I am away during the day, as well as night time, I crate your pet to ensure that he or she is safe from harm! Do not fear, I have 2 crates that are generous in size, so your beloved pet is comfortable, and never cramped! I have many comfortable blankets, and a large sized memory foam dog bed for your pet to enjoy and keep comfortable! At times, a pet might be more comfortable free roaming, and I will allow that and slowly introduce them to free range in due time. My townhouse also has central air conditioning, so your pet will be in a comfortable setting. I do not take dogs for car rides of any sort and will only have them off leash at a fully fenced off dog park. Once I get to know the pet and have had the opportunity to care for them at least 2-3 times previously and trust has been established, I will consider taking your pet to a much bigger dog park which doubles as a nice 30-45 minute walk.

Do let me know if your dog has high prey drive and how they interact with other dogs. A list of do’s and don’t’s would be wonderful to aid me in properly caring for your beloved pet!
A typical day
In the mornings before I head off to work, there’s always time for play and cuddles. I make sure that the dogs in my care get adequate amount of time for sniffing and potty break. Because I live in an older neighbourhood, there are tons of green spaces. Lots of interesting smells in those areas. I also love utilizing the fully fenced, off leash dog park after a nice walk to burn off extra energy!

Availability
I am currently employed full time, however once I am home, my attention is fully on the pets in my care. A routine schedule of play time, mental stimulation as well as physical stimulation is exercised. In the mornings, there is time for play and affection before I start my day. When I take a pet for a walk, it is always minimum 1 hour long, depending on the age and mobility of a pet. There is a fully fenced dog park in close proximity, in which it is always utilized after a nice trek in the neighbourhood!
