We know how nerve-wracking it can be shopping for a sitter to take care of your pup. So I've put a lot of content in my profile to help us both save time upfront. *If you are looking for a sitter where your dog will be the only dog boarding, we sadly aren't the right fit for you.* FAQs Question: Will there be other dogs there? Answer: Yes. We wouldn't have much of a business if we only watched one dog at a time. Truth is this is the best job ever, and love all of the pups. 😊 "Can we do a meet and greet?" Answer: Yes, we can do a meet and greet to meet with you and your dog to discuss your dogs needs. Question: How many other dogs will be there? Answer: As many as me and my team can comfortably board. If this is a concern, we're not a good fit for you. We prefer clients who trust us to do what we're in business to do and that's make sure your pup has an amazing time while you're soaking up some R&R. We lead our Pack. Question: "My dog doesn't use a crate at home, so can they be out at your home?" Answer: If your dog is aggressive they will be crated. We simply can't put other clients pups at risk because you are uncomfortable with the idea of your dog spending time here differently than they do at home. We know, your dog is your baby and crating them makes you sad. But for Pack animals, a crate is a safe haven and can be a very relaxing experience. For us, they're our client and we have to do what keeps them all safe. With that in mind, if your dog isn't aggressive they have free-range of the whole house. *Puppies who aren't housebroken require a crate no matter what.* Question: I am fostering this dog, can you register with and meet with our fostering facility? Answer: We don't take fosters. Question: What's your capacity? Answer: See above question regarding how many other dogs will be there. We have over 25+ years of dog care experience combined as well as behavioral training. We provide home cooked breakfast and dinner for an additional fee if you'd like your pup to have one. We are urban farmers and raise our own produce and eggs from our chickens (don't worry, they're confined). Pictures and/or videos will be provided if you ask for them. You can check on your pet anytime between 9am-8pm with a Rover account. "Can you send my dog home with a bath and brush before I get them?" Answer: We are happy to provide exit baths and grooming. You can add those services for a fee during your booking. We partner with Groom's by Gert for grooming services(Click on additional services) An upcharge will be added for aggressive dogs (biters, leash aggressive, escape artists, etc). Please disclose this upfront so that we can discuss and come to an agreement on rates. We want your dog safe at all times and the more you dislose, the better equipped we are to ensure a great stay. We want you to have the proper care for your pup while you are away, that includes making our rates affordable. If you are experiencing a family crisis (death in the family, property damage from storms, divorce negotiation, medical issues etc.) please let us know and we can discuss discounted rates for bereavement and/or long term stays.
