Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs my entire life and have been directly responsible for pet care for the last 15 years. My friends & neighbors say I'm a "dog whisperer" (and a "cat whisperer") - dogs tend to relate very well to me and I to them. My neighbors watch as I take my pack of 5 dogs on bike runs (2 at a time, of course, we all want to be safe!). All of my current pack are older rescues of various sizes (25 lbs to 70 lbs) and 4 of them were overweight when I first adopted them. But with proper diet & exercise, they are now all healthy weights and extremely happy & balanced. I think of my home as a "retirement forever-home" for older dogs who may not be easily adoptable.

I'm open to sitting for all sizes, numbers and breeds. My rate is per family, not per pet, so it's a great bargain for you and a great joy for me! I do like to meet with clients and their pets before delivering pet care services just to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. Initial meeting is free and usually takes about 30 minutes.
A typical day
My 30-minute drop-in visits include anything you and your pet(s) may need, including feedings, walks, playtime, belly rubs & ear scratches, basic grooming/brushing. And if there's anything else you'd like me to do for your pet(s), just ask! I also provide basic house sitting services - bring in the mail, water plants indoors and outdoors, set out trash and recycle bins.
