A house is not a home without a pet. I grew up around dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish - all the pets! I currently have one young adult cat and two incredibly active dogs. Working at a vet clinic for five years, I learned how to approach dogs of any demeanor, handle stressful or high-energy situations, and how to administer both food and medications correctly. My goal is to create a relationship with your pet that creates a friendly, peaceful, and fun environment. I know how anxious, nervous, sad our friends get when their owners leave for a trip. I also know how crazy, hyper, overwhelmed our friends can get around new people, on a new walking route, or around other animals. I am comfortable administering medicine (pills, insulin, etc.) and following strict diets - I am experienced! Things you should know: -- I have two dogs, Carla and Sagan. Sagan is not very friendly with other animals, so I will never bring her around your pets. Carla is good with both dogs and cats - if you are comfortable, I will bring her with me to play with your pets. Sometimes I bring Carla for overnight stays - please let me know if that’s not ok!
