I am beyond proud to say that dogs are my life. I have dedicated years to learning about their behavior and care, and that's why I decided to become a pet sitter! I'm here to share my passion and expertise with you and your pet, and can offer training as well, for an additional rate! I have been training dogs professionally for over 17 years. I have certifications in Animal Behavior from University of Edinburgh and Canine Emotion and Cognition from Duke University, and am currently completing my Master's in Animal Science. I have experience training and caring for puppies, seniors, dogs with anxiety, service and therapy dogs, reactive dogs, dogs with disabilities, shy dogs, you name it! I also now offer training services for an additional rate through Rover! Please contact me for additional information. In my free time, I of course do what I love best, working and spending time with my own dogs--I'm currently training my dogs to work with my own special needs daughter who loves nothing more than to have a canine companion beside her to help her conquer the day. I want to help give that gift to other kids too! I am a published author on the subject of positive dog training! I'd like to know the following: Does your dog have any special needs? What commands do they know? What do they like doing best? Do they have any food restrictions or allergies? What can I do to make both you and your dog comfortable? What is their schedule like? What is their favorite toy/treat/activity? What DON'T you want your dog to do? Are they stressed in specific situations? The more I know about your pet the better I can provide care for them, so tell me as much as you can!
A typical day
I will establish a positive experience between your dog and I during the meet and greet so that we are guaranteed a fun time when I come to visit them. Your dog and I will have a great time snuggling up with a good movie when we aren't outside playing a game or learning a surprise trick or two for your return!

I exclusively work with dogs full-time! I am either working with a client dog, a personal dog, or using Rover between appointments. I am very flexible!
