Hi there! My name is Everette. I've worked professionally with dogs for several years. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, dog day care, puppy visits, and even off leash hikes. I love going on pup adventures! In addition, I have experience caring for my own sweet dog for many years. He was quite friendly and loved to meet other Rover creatures. I've cared for cats, rabbits, reptiles, birds (including chickens) and other animals too! My availability is flexible and I work hard to provide the best care possible for your animals! I have a calm and friendly demeanor that animals seem to take quite the liking to. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (and not so furry) friends! (Please use they/them/their and he/him his pronouns when referring to me. Pronouns are replacements for proper nouns. For example: Everette took excellent care of our animals. Becomes: They took excellent care of our animals. Or: He took excellent care of our animals.)

Everette was super easy to coordinate with and then flexible about when we arrived and dropped off. Our dog bonded with her right away and had a great time. And, of course, Everette sent A+ photos every day. That little bonus was fantastic.
Everette did a great job with our dogs providing a great alternative to a kennel. It was reassuring to know that we had someone at the house so that the dogs were not locked in a kennel all day.
Everette helped me out on very short notice and came by to let my dog Harry out while I was stuck at work and my original dogcare plans fell through. We hadn't even met in person yet, but communication was super easy and quick; I could tell I had a trustworthy and conscientious sitter on the other end of the line. What I hoped would be a quick, stress-free, little pee break for Harry turned out to be a very happy, half-hour play visit with photos and a full report at the end! It's so wonderful to know I have someone local and reliable to call for situations like this. It was my first time using Rover, but the site has come highly recommended by friends, and I look forward to booking more appointments in the future!
I was a bit apprehensive about using this service at first, but I am so glad I gave this a try. Everette was terrific and when I take my next trip, I will definitely try to hire her again. She was very caring towards my animals and would even text me updates an photos. I would definitely recommend.

I care for other's pets as if they were my own. I listen to their body language so that I can give them what they need whether it's lots of interaction & playtime, cuddles, or space. Safety is my main priority, and I will always keep that in mind, keeping your creatures safe and well cared for. My hope is to build a relationship with your pets and be a person both you and your creatures can feel good about. I make an effort to be cautious, smart, and prepared, so if there is an emergency, we know what to do but the likelihood of one is slim!

A typical day
While your dog is in my care, we'll take hikes in the forest, swimming adventures, car rides, cuddles, and play in the yard! It all depends on the dogs and what their needs are. You can find us adventuring through any local green space!

Creature care is one of my main focuses right now and I'm doing it close to full time. I'm available for pet sitting throughout the week and regular drop ins & walks m-f 10am-3pm. I mostly do work from home, though when I do have to go out, it's either be a fun adventure for you pet or I'll be back before in good time!
