Pet care experience
Having the first family’s pet at age 10 gave me insight on the importance of caring for a furry baby, one who still lives till this day. My cousin would trust us with his own dog, Trixie, when he needed to travel. We also rescued a dog when he was walking the streets near our church and decided to add him to the family. When I was dating my husband, we decides to get a Yorkie, which we love and care for her on a daily basis. Soon enough, we decided to rescue a Pomeranian from a newborn batch. They make great company to each other. I also take care of my brother’s huskey mixed dog named Thor, when he is out of town. I usually take him to hike as this is his favorite hobby. I always make time for my puppers to take them out on a walk, give them play time, dog parks, beach walks, and have dedicated myself to train them with their favorite dog treats.

I will always ask permission to create a safe space for your pets by moving thinga around. If pets are indoors, I will always be on the lookout for opened doors/cabinets to make sure that they remain closed. This way, I am able to keep sight on them in a safely manner and avoid hide and seek. Pets are always curious, so anything can happen if the surrounding areas are not kept in order. If there is a yard for them, I will make sure that it is a gated and there is no sign of damage to prevent them from running outside the designated area. I will always make sure that water is available to pets, which means that I will watch their behavior near water bowls. I will follow all policy and regulation when it comes to feeding times/ medication (if required) to help keep the pets be healthy! If walking is required, I will make sure that the harness is not damaged and confortable to fit for each pet. I am a walker and a runner, so my expertise is to be aware of my surroundings all the time.

Please let me know if your dog has trouble socializing with other dogs, or what can make them uncomfortable. If a behavior or special need is something I should be on the look out, please give me a heads up and I will greatly adapt to the necessary steps that I will take during my time with them. It is also important for me to know if your dog is under any medication or under medical care/surgery recently.
A typical day
I believe that play time is an important part of the day for dogs. This will help them stay mentally connected with their surroundings while avoiding boredom. I am very interactive with dogs, so any toys available for me will be used to play with your pets. One of my favorite things is playing fetch and squeaking the toy all around for them to try an capture it. Each dog has their own favorite way of playing, so it will be my duty to learn and play with them. I love taking walks around the neighborhood, because I love house watching. Taking your pets around the block is a must! Aditionally, I enjoy the fresh air and its greenery while going on a walk, so your pets can definitely be taken to their local park to share that moment with me. The beach is also something I enjoy, but some beaches will have dog restrictions, but I will do my research if a walk on the beach is allowed with me and your furry loved one.

Availability
I’m currently working full-time, but I work from home 2 days out of the week which allows me to work for 1 hour between 12pm-1pm or 1pm-2pm or any hours after 5pm. I am flexible to work during the weekends any hours of the day or night shifts.
