My son and I are dog people. I have taken care of small, medium and large dogs since I was 16 years old. I had an array of dogs growing up from German Shephard, Huskies, Pittbulls and beagles to name a few. Neighbors, friends and family rely on me to walk, feed, play and take care of their dogs. I have experience with puppies as well and assist in providing basic training. In my home, dogs are allowed on the couch and beds, as long as that is allowed by you. We love to treat your dog like it were ours!

Evelyn is very careful and considerate. She arranged our dog and her dog to meet in advance to make sure that they would get along. We received the updated photos and videos of Sandy, our dog every day. Evelyn was very responsive and got back to us in timely manner. Sandy had kernel cough during the stay. Evelyn stayed up late with her. She called our own vet for an appointment and drove all the way to have Sandy checked. We are so grateful that Sandy was checked on time. Thank you Evelyn! We highly recommend Evelyn's services.
Evelyn went above and beyond to take care of our puppy. She treated Mollie as her own. She sent frequent updates with the best pictures knowing she was in good hands. Her dog, Lillie, is so friendly and our mollie loves her! Thanks again.

While I do not have a fenced in backyard, there is a lot of green space just across the street and surrounding areas. I have Lily, who is my two year old dog. She does extremely well with other dogs and would also keep your pup company. My main priority is ensuring the well being of your dog and making them comfortable!

It will also be helpful to know how they behave around other dogs and what activities they like to do,
A typical day
My priority is ensuring your dogs needs are met and they are mentally and physically stimulated. If your dog is high energy and enjoys being outdoors then dog parks or hikes is where we'll go. There are local trails where I enjoy taking dogs to get some exercise. We can play fetch and run around. If they are more mellow, then indoor fun and belly rubs it is!

Availability
I currently have extra time on my hands. I do my best to keep my calendar current! I am flexible on the weekends. A typical day would be a morning feeding followed by a potty break. We would also incorporate some play time. If okay with the owner, we could go to a dog park where they can run leash free, and if not, some long walks will do the job. However, if your dog is more of a homebody or may not be comfortable around too many dogs, then belly rubs and playing indoors is perfectly acceptable! I accommodate to the needs of the dog, as their safety and comfort is always a priority!
