Dogs are our Grandbabies!
Pet care experience
I work part-time as a preschool teacher/director so I am only out of the home about 6 hours a day. I find many of the skills utilized with small children are similar to those used when working with dogs. We have always had dogs as pets until our beloved pit-mix passed away a couple of years ago. My husband and I are active volunteers in a couple of dog rescue groups. We have fostered numerous dogs in our home of various breeds. We always miss our fosters when they find their forever homes and always offer to dog sit if their owners go on vacation so we have the opportunity to see them again. We love having furry friends in our home to share our days and nights with.

Goose just had his second stay with Evelyn and Bob and they are just amazing! We booked them to watch our boy during our wedding and the day of the wedding, I got a photo of my pup with a bow tie and a sign. It was perfect!
Eve and Bob save the day once again. These guys have been so good to me and izzy. I had surgery and recovery went a little longer than I had planned. They had a cancellation and were able and willing to keep Izzy an extra two days! Izzy was able to play in their yard in the snow storm instead of full time cuddles with me in the sofa. So happy to have eve and Bob near by!
These guys are amazing ! After a rocky start due to my being late the day of drop off they were still eager to take the leash and make her feel comfy before they left for the day. Sounds like Izzy had a doggy play date or two with other dogs , some long walks , a visit to a local brewery, and a swim in a pond (which I am sad I missed as I have not seen her swim yet). Izzy definitely had a great time.. I could see it on her face. She will be back again soon! Thanks again!
Max always had a good time with Evelyn and Robert. Evelyn never fails to send us an update of our Max and we’re always looking forward for it. Thank you for taking care of Max. We will keep coming back.

We ask that owners give us a short write up about eating, sleeping, and activity preferences. We also like to know how long the dog is use to being left alone and where it is use to staying when left alone (crate, room, run of the house, etc.). We also request veterinary contact information in case there would be any type of emergency. We are comfortable with all breeds or breed mixes.
A typical day
Our home backs up to a township park with a walking track so we take regular walks with our dogs. We also have a fenced in yard which is great for ball throwing and general running around. Our yard has a pond, which some dogs find appealing for a quick dip on hot days.
