Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, from brushing out my grandmother's Afghan Hound's coat as a child to adopting a severely neglected/abused 3 year old Chihuahua mix. My dog is now 13 years young and is as spry and chipper as ever! I also have experience in care for dogs that are blind or deaf and that are of the senior age but welcome all walks of life.

I have used Evelina twice for drop ins with my cats and she is fantastic! Very communicative and gives them lots of attention/play time.
I would highly recommend Evelina to care for any animal! She has cared for my dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets and cats over the past 10+ years. My current dog (Rico) and cat (Salem) get so excited when she comes over. She is very loving and caring to all animals and has a big heart. I can't say enough how I am grateful to have found someone who loves my pets as much as I do.
Evelina has been close to my fur babies for years. When ever I have to leave town she is there to late care of them. She is not one of those people who just feed and water your animals. When my dog required medicine and exercise she made sure it was given. She even brushed and bathed them without being asked. She even rescued my cat from the street he is the best cat. I am close to the marina which is a beautiful 2 mile walk around and there's a large fenced park nearby to allow them to run free. I have a senior dog who lives life on the more relaxed side but gets along well with others. At the current moment I don't have the ability to board dogs but look forward to in the future.

A typical day
There are so many options on where to go on walks! A few of my favorites are Virginia Lake, The Marina and Mayberry. I have quite a variety of dog toys available for fetch or tug'o war as well as going on jogs or bike rides for those very energetic types.

I'm currently working part-time with great flexibility. I set my own schedule so it works great with being available for all your pets needs. I'm open to long term set schedules as well as being flexible to fit specific needs.
