Hi there! My name is Eve! I am a huge dog lover and I joined rover because I want a dog of my own someday and I love meeting different breeds! No size or breed combination scare me. I love all dogs and think they are the sweetest things! My family used to have Newfoundlands and golden retrievers so I have been around bigger breeds most of my life. I even helped raise one of our dogs when we got her as a puppy. Before I relocated to Chicago, I spent a year in Boston dogsitting on the weekends and after work. I got a ton of great experience on how to dog sit in a big city and now I am back in Chicago ready for more! Getting to hang out with dogs is how free time should be spent! I am able to care for dogs in my apartment but I am flexible and can stay in the dogs home. I am very cautious and understand the need for crate training and potty training. I am always respectful of any home I am in. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.

Eve was so wonderful. She was very responsive, send great picture updates, and also made me feel so comfortable that she was taking great care of my pup. We will definitely use her again in the future!
Eve is a wonderful pup sitter. Her demeanor is calm but fun - “she had them at hello” - they loved her. We appreciated the pics she sent and that she updated us during our evening. Recommend her highly (although selfishly we’d like to have her all to ourselves).

I picked the BEST pet sitter EVER! Eve spent time w/ me on a meet & greet, and patiently waited while I showed her the park where I like to walk…really slowly :) I liked her so much, I told my “mom” she’s the one! Eve took great care of me for a few days & nights, and I didn’t even miss mom (or dad), because Eve took me to all my favorite spots & even some fun new ones! Eve pushed me in my stroller when I got tired, & gave me my favorite snacks before bedtime. I even asked her for some lovin’ when I woke up ;) Mom didn’t ever have to worry about me because Eve sent lots of pics & updates that I was doing great w/ my new lady friend, Eve! We’re definitely gonna go on a another date whenever mom & dad need to travel. Love, HarryGeorge

Please let me know the age of your dog before hand, and if they have any hesitation toward strangers so I know to keep energy levels at a minimum
A typical day
Before I moved back to Chicago, I lived in Chicago and would take my sisters dog on a 3 mile walk everyday on lakeshore along the water! If the weather was super nice I would also take her to the Belmont Dog Beach so she could go meet some friends! I know a few great dog walking routes and would love to take your pup to any dog park or beach if permitted!

I am available anytime that is shown on my calendar! I work from home Mondays and Fridays so I am able to dog sit, dog walk, or do drops in within Lincoln Park on those days.
