I am the designated dog sitter of all my friends! They know how much I care for animals and how strong my passion is for helping dogs (although I love all animals and watch my friends cat and occasional fish as well). I have made it part of my life's work to support animal charities, volunteer at my local shelter and have had the privilege of finding homes for 15 dogs that have found their way to me over the years. (Rescues Winter and Midnight recently crossed over the rainbow bridge after over 12 years of living in their forever homes!) I have a 13 year old pit mix, Izzie who is partially deaf (or maybe hearing selective since she always hears the word food!). I am very sensitive to the needs of our elderly dog community, and the extra care, routines or special requirements that owners may have. I have experience with all kinds of dogs (small and large), cats and the occasional bird and snake, so please let me know how I can help or what you need.
