Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs from the pound, cats, and sometimes walked and watched my neighbors' dogs while they were on vacation. I am comfortable with small and giant dogs alike, and have experience with especially rambunctious dogs, including those who require a muzzle when on walks.

Evan was great! He took care of our house and our 1 year old Great Dane for the nearly two weeks we were traveling. Our pup was happy and relaxed when we returned, he clearly didn't miss us nearly enough thanks to Evan's excellent care. The house was just like we'd left it, Evan kept everything clean and tidy. Very pleased and we'll be hoping to book him again for our next trip.

With great pleasure I recommend Evan to anyone using Rover, as a very friendly and sweet but likewise serious, responsible, rock-solid house- and dog-sitter. We just did a weekend run-through in preparation for a two week stint staying with my Boston Terrier Jake, while I’m in Europe and Evan was great—bonded with Jake, house was immaculate, he even managed a power outage PGE sprung on us. Living in Berkeley himself, he’s familiar with the resources and I’m so grateful to have him coming for an extended stay—easier on the dog, peace of mind for me, and some nice quiet time for him. Win-win. Happy to add my enthusiastic thumbs-up to this already long list of positive reviews here.

I’m pretty flexible as I’ve worked successfully with a wide-range of dogs by size, temperament, and medical as well as training needs. You can just tell me your dogs’ unique requirements when we first meet up.

I don’t have dogs of my own at the moment so I’ll just pour my energy and affection for dogs into yours while I get the chance.

I’m currently self-studying to become a software engineer, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can fit in walks about any time of the day and am good for weekend or even multi-week pet sits.
