I grew up with 2 cats and a rabbit and have had 2 rescue dogs as an adult. I'm experienced with dogs of various sizes--pug to bull mastiff--and temperaments. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication (pills & eye drops). I can continue your dog's behavior training if you'd like, having successfully graduated a training class with my last dog. Also - you will 100% receive photo updates. Many of my clients prefer to receive them via direct text or messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. I use whichever method requested by you. A recent client reported that "the [dog's name] live stream is a real crowd pleaser with my coworkers." (Client was on a business trip.) NOTE: I generally only accept walks/drop-ins within West Seattle, but my service area is wider for house sits (2 night min outside of West Seattle).

Evan is a gem. I am so glad I found him on Rover. He just spent two weeks with my pittie lab mix while I traveled overseas. He took excellent care of her and communicated with me daily. My dog, who is very sensitive and has isolation anxiety, is enamored with him, and I was able to relax fully on my trip. Prior to leaving, Evan spent time learning how I walk my dog and her day to day, so he could provide her the consistency. My girl also has a back injury and Evan gave her medication daily and was in touch with my vet when it appeared she was struggling with her hip. Evan also took great care of my house while I was away. He is calm, thoughtful, and was dedicated to my dog while I was gone. So So Thankful!!!
My rescue pup and I are so glad we have found Evan. Evan has truly listened to me about what is needed to care for my sweet and rowdy dog. He has learned what she needs on walks and watches my interactions with her closely, so he can mirror those actions with her and create a loving, safe relationship. Excited to continue working with him.
Evan was great! I am very nervous about leaving our two large, high energy dog with anyone! However Evan made it possible to have a relaxing weekend away without any concerns about our dogs! he Sent regular photos and had obviously taken great care of our dogs! He even left the house cleaner than when he got there!
Evan was professional and outstanding, I came home to a happy dog who had clearly felt loved and cuddled. I would recommend him without reservation. Please give him a $50 tip.

Availability
I work remotely and my schedule is generally flexible. If I'm walking or doing a drop-in, I will make sure your dog gets exercise and some scratches/love. If I'm housesitting, I will typically work from your place and check-in with your pet and take care of them throughout the day.
