Hello Dog Owners! My Name is Evan and I live on the George Mason University Campus in Fairfax, VA. I have been around dogs my entire life and have lots of experience taking care of them. I currently work across the street from my apartment and we will always be there to look after your furry friend. Here at my residence, we offer kennel-free boarding where your dog will be treated just like my own. They will have free roam of the lower level of the house and my bedroom where we've set it up to be safe for them so they don't get into anything they shouldn't. A usual day here consists of two to three trips to the adjacent soccer field for play time and two to three walks around the beautiful George Mason University Camps and surrounding rail trails. Depending on your pups physical abilities, hiking around the Northern Virginia, Shenandoah or West Virginia area and of course as many potty breaks as your furry companion wants. We try our best to create a safe and fun environment for your dog and are always more than happy to send you plenty of updates while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! Why I love dog sitting: All my life I have lived with dogs until now. I grew up in a rural part of Massachusetts where dogs can be dogs. I wouldn’t call it dog sitting on account that your dog will not be doing all that much sitting around me unless that is what they want to do :) I love hiking and walking with dogs and feel the need to have a dog in my life. The only problem is I travel way too much lately to give the full time care and attention to a dog of my own. So instead of getting a dog and spending a lot of time finding regular dog sitters I decided to just become one myself and set the schedule to when I can provide the proper full time love and attention your dog deserves. About my yard: My residence is on the George Mason University Campus in the extremely dog friendly neighborhood of Masonvale. Across the street is a massive soccer field where I will play with your dog as long as they want. Walks generally begin with frequent sniff and sprits every ten feet until we get onto the main campus or one of the surrounding rail trails. Endless walking paths span from my house in all directions and I intend to take your dog to all of them. My experience administering medication: I have experience medicating orally, topically, and so on. If you have a certain way you'd like to have your pets medicine administered (with treats, etc.) please let us know!
