My wife and I both grew up taking care of our respective family dog(s) and now have our own pup - a 3 year old border collie/retriever mix named Bear. He gets along well with all dogs, and will make quick friends with yours. We bring him to the dog park daily, dog beach on the weekends, and to any and all patios that accept him. During the week, we both work downtown, but make trips home at lunch for a quick walk and play. Bear is an excellent playmate, and the two should keep themselves occupied when alone. On the weekends, it's all about the dogs - we're up early, taking them to Wicker Dog Park or the Bucktown park (close to Winchester & Cortland) multiple times during the day/night.
