Dog Trainer with a Fenced in Yard!
Pet care experience
I have successfully fostered and boarded dogs both in my home and while working at a professional boarding/training center. I have volunteered with local shelters and a regional K9 search and rescue group, and have dog sat over 200 dogs in my home. Elderly, puppies, and special needs dogs are a specialty of mine as I am experienced with administering medication, physical therapy exercises, and specialty diets. We have one pup of my own, Winny, who loves to make new friends and invite others to play. We moved to Norwalk in 2018 and our fenced, in 1/3 acre yard is perfect for all dogs, especially those which live in apartments as they will get the chance to roam, explore, and play! We are looking forward to meeting you!

My dogs love Evan and his big backyard!
Evan is amazing! Such great find for my very active dogs. He has a wonderful, large, fenced-in backyard for them to play in. He is very knowledgeable and responsive to any questions. Loki seemed to have a great time at evans, came home to a tired and happy dog. Evan was very easy to work and communicate with. Enjoyed getting updates and pictures during Loki's stay. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We want your pet to experience the love and care that they have in your home, so we love doing meet and greets to get to know them and understand their rhythms and routines. Whether they sleep in kennel, on a dog bed, etc, we will allow them to adapt to what they are used to and will never force them into a routine or structure that they won’t enjoy. Please note that although my preferences say we have dogs up to 100 lbs our household is best suited for dogs up to 70 lbs and it depends a lot on their temperament. We also prefer larger dogs (40lbs+) to be kennel trained. Because my wife works from home larger dogs, (although friendly), can be easier for her to manage while I am away if they have a kennel they can use.

Age and breed is always good to know, but I have worked with all types of dogs and love them all! I like to ask how they do with kids, cats, chickens, and other dogs as we have all of the above : )
A typical day
Fun, fair, and disciplined interactions with your furry friends! I love to play and romp, all the while respecting the training that so many dog owners work hard to instill in their pets. I have volunteered as a behavior consultant for shelters and training centers and can even help your dog with ongoing training. We to love to walk along nature trails, throw balls and frisbees, and simply be there for those special dogs that just like having someone around.
