We work from home almost on daily basis with flexible days in the office/home, which allows for walks and/or give the hosted friend the appropriate attention.

We have a fully fenced backyard and a lot of room in the house and would give enough space to the guest based on their personality and needs, but would also love to spend time together playing and/or bonding. Happy to have, however, many walks a day are needed. Feel free to bring their food with you and/or anything else they're familiar with to help them settle.

A typical day
We would absolutely love to play, but also educate your friend as much as possible (optional). Take them out for walks and keep them in their best company, assuring they have all they need/want.

Home away from home
Pet care experience
Having been surrounded by four-legged companions throughout our life, animals are part of who we are. From sharing homes with dogs and cats to caring for the pets of friends and family, we both have developed a good understanding of their unique personalities and needs. We have also enjoyed training our own dogs over the years, which gave us a valuable insight into canine behaviour, patience, and the joy of bonding through trust and consistency. Our experience extends to caring for cats, appreciating their distinct identities and independent spirits. We love the idea of opening our home to new little creatures, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their humans are away. Whether it’s playful puppies, senior pets needing a gentle hand, or shy cats who prefer quiet companionship, we tailor our approach to meet each animal where they are.

Solly loves his stays with Gorka
Evan is so lovely and our dog Peach has a great time when she goes to stay. Communication is always 10/10 and I know she is in safe hands. Peach seems to love Evan and Gorka and keeps trying to go back to their house when we’re out for walks in the area!
By the speed and frequency of his tail wagging Solly loves his stays with Gorka. Always a great stay, and some great photos and videos to keep me updated throughout the day
I highly recommend Evan and Gorka for their pet care at their home. Toulouse had recently developed mobility issues due to neurological issues however they accommodated him well and gave him his medication regularly. Their dog Hazel was also very sweet, patient and accommodating of him too. Toulouse was treated like their own and adored and doted upon. He has now come home and my family and I feel he is happier and more confident. We therefore believe that they have greatly helped in his recovery and will make use of their services again when away if they are available. Thank you Evan and Gorka :)
