I'd like to know what your dog or cat likes, what they don't like, and what helps them feel okay. For walks, I'd like to know how they get along with other dogs, people, children, bicycles, cats, squirrels. I'd want to know what cues or sounds they respond to, and of course what health situations they might have that require special care.
A typical day
Walks, runs, around the neighborhood, or on a trail. Off-leash space is always a win-win. Whatever they like to do best, I'm in. Unless it's tug-of-war.

Hi! I've always loved dogs, and they usually love me. I'm at ease with them, I like watching their ways and learning to listen & earn their trust. I can handle their most chaotic and challenging behavior. I've walked and taken care of dogs with the Humane Society of SoCo, where I learned to engage with dogs of all kinds: extremely reactive, blind, big and small. I've raised a pup, a collie-shepherd named Journey, into a healthy happy grown dog. I began the work of pet sitting and walking as a kid. I love cats too!

Evan watched our pup on short notice, and we were super happy with how everything went. We were away for the weekend and came home to a happy dog and a clean house. Our dog needs extra attention on walks due to reactivity and also has specific feeding instructions, and Evan was incredibly accommodating with all of it. He even came over for an in-person visit beforehand, and it was clear how conscientious he is and how important it was to him to make sure he was a good fit for our dog. That built a lot of trust for us. He also sent photos and updates over the weekend was very rad. We’d definitely use him again, and plan to next time a trip comes up. 5/5 recommend.
Evan is a kind and conscientious dog lover. I felt 100% comfortable leaving my dog with him on a regular basis. He is communicative, reliable, and trustworthy. I highly recommend him!!
Evan is a an experienced dog walker and has taken his own dog through a positive reinforcement training class. Evan is great with both dogs and people. He can handle all sizes of dogs from mini to giant.
