Pet care experience
Hi! I have had experience with dogs of all sizes, drop in visits, and overnight stays at their home and their furry friend in my home. In my hometown I walked a shih tzu for many years, and would pet sit him while his family was out of town. His parents and him became a second family for me! In Charlotte, NC I had experience working with clients who had dogs that were 10lbs to 120lbs and puppies to seniors. I have had experience watching multiple dogs at once and and can assist with puppies and senior dogs. Contact me at any time! Prior to sitting for you we will set aside time so I can learn about the neighborhood and routine of your dog. I will stick to the areas and schedule they are familiar with and follow safe leash practices for walks and monitoring outdoor time if there is a fenced in back yard that they are allowed off leash in.

I highly recommend Eva! She watched our two dogs at our house for one night. She is very responsive and spent lots of time outside with our pups. We got some pictures and (p)updates regularly.
We felt so comfortable leaving our dog with Eva. She came over for a meet and greet with our dog so everyone could meet. Our dog is a handful with new people and gets so excited and often won’t stop jumping around. She laughed off his craziness and just bent down to his level. She was understanding and brought a calm energy to the house. She was punctual and made sure to give us updates when she came to visit. We will definitely use her again.
Eva is a very compassionate person who loves caring for animals. It's easy to tell her own dog is one of the most important parts of her life. She understands what an important part of the family pets are to me and treats them with the standard of care I do. She gets along very well with my German shepherds and my cats. More importantly, they love her as much as she loves them!

I make sure to check all access points to the house prior to leaving outside with the dogs, and making sure they are on their leash properly. If there is a fenced in back yard I stay outside with them. I aim to stick to each dogs schedule, giving them as much time as needed for them to perform all daily needs and if they play I will ensure time for that as well.

A typical day
I am an active person, and love to go on long walks. If I am walking your pup at your home, I'll make sure they get to go out and get a nice walk. If you happen to jog with your dog for excercise, I would be more than happy to do so as well. I like to make sure that our pups are comfortable, and love to cuddle and play if that is a part of their regular schedule.

Availability
I am working in a hybrid position. Days that I WFH I have more flexibility on additional breaks. Office days I am in Burlington and still have flexibility on start/end time. I have two dogs of my own and typically care for them and then immediately leave to care for the dogs that I am sitting for.
