We both love house/animal sitting, and we’ve been doing so through Trusted Housesitters for a while now. My husband and I are new to California, transplants from New York but also world travelers. My husband is a remarkable human being, hard-working pediatrician, and I participate in healthcare through media. We both love meeting people and exploring new places, including animals and homes!

Just like people dogs are individuals and I like to get to know them as individuals, so it's helpful if pet owners can tell me about their general nature and personality, what type of energy they expect from anyone watching them, things they love and hate, and overall how they believe I can give them the best experience possible.
A typical day
With the dogs I love to play with them based on their individual personalities. If they are really active, maybe I will jump around and dance with them so that we're participating in the excitement together. If they like to roll around and be playful on the floor I'll get on the floor with them and give them snuggles and/or tease with toys as they like. It's another reason that I like to take care of dogs in their own environment.

Availability
I work remotely so pet sitting fits into my schedule however necessary. My husband works remotely/has off Fridays-Mondays so that’s when he helps me out.
