Since the age of 6 I have cared for animals and been taught the discipline that comes with doing so. Growing up on a ranch we owned all types of pets that I was very active and involved with. I walked, groomed, cleaned up after them, and trained them. This past year I have been employed as a Veterinary Assistant where I learned even more extensive training in the care of animals in a professional setting. I know how to perform various treatments in a clinical setting, walk and handle pets, as well as administer medication to cats and dogs. I have also developed an eye for reading a pet’s body language and the best ways to handle a stressed or anxious animal. This job experinece has given me an extensive tool kit of knowledge that I plan to use in my every day interactions with your pets. I have pet-sit for family, friends, and clients in the past years and with proper instruction I am confident in my ability to care for all animals. I left my previous employment in pursuit of additional education in Veterinary Medicine so your support is much appreciated as it’s helping me to advance my career in the care of animals.
