Pet care experience
Hello there! I am committed to giving your pets exceptional care. Over nine years of medical experience after nursing school has allowed me to learn how to keep pets of all species, ages, and even with various medical conditions as healthy and happy as they can possibly be. I have worked in emergency (and have certification in dog and cat CPR), general practice, exotic practice, and with wildlife to become well rounded and a capable animal nurse and caregiver. I also love walking and being active, and there's no better way for me to spend the day than playing with friendly dogs in the sun. A recent move from NYC has allowed me to pursue my passions for providing quality animal nursing and enjoying the warm California weather, so here I am!

I can't speaking highly enough about Eva! I met Eva at my vet office and was immediately struck by how caring she was. When my last dog started getting sick Eva was beyond empathetic and willing to do anything to help. So much so that I decided to name my new puppy, Ava, after Eva, because of how amazing she was helping me while my last dog (Liat) was sick. With my new puppy, Eva has been just as caring and helpful. She responds to my (100) questions and is always patient. As someone who is admittedly overprotective of her dog, I can without hesitation say that I felt completely at ease with Eva watching over my little one! In fact, I wish she was still on the East Coast - come back!!! If you get Eva to watch after your dog you are truly lucky! xx yael steren

I cannot offer boarding in my home at this time. I can, however, offer in home care and daily walks in the Davis area. I hope to offer boarding in the next year.
Information Eva F. would like to know about your pet
I will not walk a dog that doesn't have core vaccines, unless there is a medical reason for why they haven't been vaccinated. I prefer dogs have some form of flea and tick prevention, for their own protection. I do like to know a dog's temperament before taking them out in public.
A typical day
I like to explore hiking trails if any are close by. If not, I will look for parks with wide open grass. I enjoy both playing with pets and doing a little bit of training as well. Dogs love to learn!

Availability
I can do daily check ins, feedings, walks, and basic medical treatments for pets most days and evenings. Please let me know your pet care needs and I will try to accommodate them.
