Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Eva! I am a 35 year old creative professional with over 20 years of experience as a pet sitter. I work in the entertainment industry, but love to look after pets in my spare time. I have owned and looked after cats and dogs ever since I was a child, and soon became my family & friends' go-to sitter (still am!). I got my first professional pet-sitting job when I was in college and have been doing it on a part-time basis ever since! I have also previously worked as a veterinary assistant for Vetco - so you know your beloved pet will have all my attention and be in good, safe hands! I love and I am experienced with both cats and dogs of all sizes and shapes, as long as they are not aggressive, and I take on big/strong doggos depending on their temperament- nothing personal, just a muscle strength issue! hehe ** BOOKING CONFIRMATION NOTE ** All bookings must be confirmed on Rover asap, following reasonable communication/discussion, and no later than 1 hour after the Meet & Greet. Bookings are NOT confirmed until this is done. If the booking is cancelled after the confirmation, please check my cancellation policy. ** HUSBAND NOTE ** I live with my husband, Ian (the one in some of the photos), and while I am the official sitter, he also loves cats & dogs and is experienced looking after them, so he is my helper sometimes and he's often around. He might come on walks and visits with me, if you're comfortable with that. Please let me know if you do NOT want him to accompany me - no hard feelings! I am extremely reliable, detailed-oriented and adaptable. We do not own my own pets at the moment, so I cannot wait to give your beloved furry cuties all the love and attention they deserve! Eva was by far the best sitter we’ve had for our cats since moving to Charlotte. She was very communicative throughout every visit, sending me tons of videos and pictures. She even cleaned up a mess without any complaints 🤪 she made me feel really at ease being away for longer than the cats are used to. Eva was wonderful and watched our cats while we were out of town. She was a great communicator, attentive, detail-oriented, and professional. She also sent multiple pictures and videos which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely rebook her again in the future! 😊
Eva and her husband were super sweet. I had a friend in town with her dog and we decided we wanted to take a day trip. We left our dogs behind and Eva and her husband walked, fed, played, cleaned up after them, etc. They spend extra time with them giving them love and attention. They also send lots of pics! Id definitely recommend them.
She is so sweet with my dog and sends me lots of pictures of him being super cute! On time and is super sweet!

On house visits I make sure to scan through on every visit and look out for potential hazards (electrical cables, windows) and maintain basic cleanliness. On walks I always make sure the dog’s leash is secure and always approach other dogs with caution.

Rabies Vaccine - I can only look after cats and dogs that are up to date with their Rabies vaccinations. Any behavioral issues - separation anxiety, aggressiveness towards people or other pets, etc Temperament and training, especially for big dogs - if your dog is a strong dog who is not leash trained I might not be able to handle them Any medical conditions - special care, medications, etc
A typical day
When I walk dogs I make sure I keep engaging them by giving compliments and commands. I also love to practice any tricks, play with their favorite toys, chat (yes, I will actually talk to your pets) and of course, give plenty of cuddles!

I go away for work every 2 months or so, which means that if I’m available on Rover it means I’m home/not working and free to look after your pet!
