Pet care experience
I miss having a dog around and have limited openings to care for your precious pet on a short-term basis in my dog-friendly home. I’m an experienced former veterinary assistant with tons of patience and kindness, and got my start with pet-sitting at a young age, taking care of a neighbor’s dachshund, Heidi, while they went away during the summer. I’ve previously owned a golden retriever, retriever-shepherd rescue, Indian Pariah and a doberman puppy. I currently don’t have any pets in the household, have a flexible work-from-home schedule, and would take care of only one dog at a time, providing a safe, loving home away from home while in my care. I have a large fenced yard for off-leash supervised play and enjoy walks around our dog-friendly neighborhood.

Eva was the most diligent and dedicated sitter we’ve ever had for our elderly Boston Terrier. She sent us many detailed updates along with photos and videos. She took her time with him and catered to his elderly needs! We were able to thoroughly enjoy our time away because we knew he was in such gentle and loving care. Thank you Eva! Eva did a fantastic job with Davy my Bernese Mountain Dog. I wanted to find someone to care for Davy over the long holiday weekend. She kept me updated throughout our trip and helped him adjust to the new environment. Davy is less anxious and happy!

It would be helpful for me to know if your dog is friendly toward other dogs on walks, if your pup is apprehensive about anything and if he/she knows basic obedience commands. Ideally, your dog is crate-trained, house-trained, is update-to-date with vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventative medications.
A typical day
I live in a residential community, perfect for neighborhood walks. I would give lots of attention to your pup, including safe indoor and outdoor supervised playtime activities. I can also practice and reinforce basic obedience commands with positive reinforcement, if you'd like.

I'm self-employed with a flexible schedule. I am available for doggy daycare in my home, dog walking and drop-visits weekdays and weekends (sorry, not available for overnight boarding at this time).
