I am a canine and equine trainer and behaviorist, veterinary technician, and experienced kennel technician possessing years of experience working with animals. I grew up on a farm where my family kept and cared for a variety of dogs, cats, birds, horses, small livestock, reptiles, and rodents. I’m comfortable working with a wide assortment of animal species and am equally as comfortable caring for them. As an experienced, Fear Free certified veterinary and kennel technician, I am capable of providing exceptional care to both large and small groups of dogs while making the experience as stress free as possible. I can comfortably administer medications, vaccinations, and first aid, as well as basic grooming (trimming nails/bathing/etc.). I am a certified K9 Working and Pet Dog Medic and know exactly what to do if an emergency arises. I am very experienced working with canine food allergies, elimination diets and specific dietary requirements and will ensure that their regular schedule is maintained while you are away. I am also a passionate certified Master Dog Trainer and behavior modification specialist. I specialize in SAR (search and rescue) dogs and detection K9's. I also regularly train obedience on pet dogs, as well as agility/nosework/sport, manners training and behavior modification in both group and private settings. I am trained in dog group supervision and controlled socialization, and will gladly help socialize your dog with other humans and animals. Finally, I offer dog walking and exercising services, retriever training and mentally stimulating play activities for working breeds! My pets have always been an incredibly important part of my life so I understand firsthand how difficult it is to leave them. When I am watching your pets, I will always put their mental and physical well-being first, ensure that they have predictability and a schedule, and will do everything possible to keep them as happy and healthy as possible.
