Availability
Rover is my full time job! I care for your pets around the time I spend with my own animals and do my best to make sure everyone's needs are accommodated for, schedule wise. This means I will prioritize time slots for pets who are on a strict medication schedule or need a very consistent routine, and other time slots are a bit more flexible (within ~1 hour of the requested time given).

I will happily take your dogs on a nice long walk, and I'm also down to play fetch or tug of war. If your dog knows more involved games or needs reinforcement of training, I'm happy to work with them on basic obedience and tricks. I love hanging out with cat clients and particularly enjoy working with shy or formerly feral cats--two of mine are former ferals :)

What is the name, breed, sex, and age of your pet(s)? Do they have any medical conditions? Do they take medication and if so how often and in what way is it administered? Are there any special considerations I should take into account, such as spots they do not like to be touched, if they get separation anxiety, etc? Is there any training that you are working on that you would like me to enforce or practice? Any favorite treats or toys?
A typical day
I will tire your dog out with games! I'm more than happy to work on training and tricks with them--just let me know your training method and I will reinforce what you're already doing. I love playing with cats but am just as happy to chill and snuggle with them, especially the shyer ones who may require a little more patience and time. Overall I am used to working with anxious and aggressive animals so I am very patient and comfortable letting the pet set the pace.

Hello! My name is Eula, but I go by Thane! I currently petsit on Rover full time. I absolutely love dogs, cats, horses, snakes, hamsters, and pretty much every other animal I've encountered in my life! I have done dog grooming and training and have been a kennel tech in the past and have worked both with an open play system and individual boarding and I'm very comfortable around all kinds of breeds and temperaments. I have also housesat for many family friends and cared for dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, horses, goats, sheep, and chickens while they were away. For most of my childhood I lived next to a horse farm, so I have a fair amount of experience grooming and handling horses, although I don't ride anymore. I have experience owning and caring for hamsters as well. I own two feral kittens that I am socializing. I very much enjoy working with animals and I do my very best to treat every animal entrusted to me as though it were my own.
